As a prior POR-15 dealer ourselves, we switched to Rust Bullet , I am very familiar with the properties of POR-15 products. In the last 5 months we have had nothing but good reviews of Rust Bullet. We use the product ourselves doing restorations of First Gen. They do not recommend it as a one step on top of rust. They have prep products for treating/priming the rust first. The stuff is very hard. About 4-5 years ago, my brother-in-law moved back from Michigan and his 79 El Camino was starting to show signs of rust. I stripped and painted the car before he moved up there, roughly 4 years prior.After hearing so highly of it I used mastercoat on the frame and por 15 on the front and rear diffs. Did it half a year ago and we're well into a salty PA winter. Not a chip or speck of rust on anything with the por. Mastercoat was followed to a T on prep.
